Hike around Cuicocha lake

Season: Year round
Area: Imbabura Northern Ecuador.

Beautiful hike around a volcanic lake with two islands in the middle.
It is a 5-6 hours hike at 3500 meters of altitude.
Great views of the lake, the farmlands and the mount Cotacachi.
Good for kids and adults (12 and up)

ITINERARY:

07h00   Pick up from hotel. Drive to Cotacachi
09h00   Arrive to the lake shore. Safety talk.
09h30   Hiking starts!!
12h00   Lunch
12h30   Downhill continues
14h00   Hike finishes. Drive back to Quito
17h00   Arrive to Quito. Drop off in hotel
