Quijos River is a solid class IV river located in the area of El Chaco in the eastern Andes slopes born from the Antisana glacier volcano. Because of the amazing scenery and challenging rapids is a world class river among the best of the world, the World Rafting Championships on 2005 was held in this river, the season is from October to March when the river levelis perfect to hit some rapids like “El Toro” one of the most challenging rapid.
