Barefoot Expeditions

On our Napo Jungle Expedition, you are going to stay in a beautiful ecolodge in true nature located in the Napo River area, where sustainable tourism, with respect to the people, the environment and the economy of the host community is practised.

Local guides give expert interpretation as ecotourists traverse the varied forest habitats of the Forest Reserve belonging to the lodge. There are over 10 Km of trails to choose from, where visitors will learn about medicinal, fruit and exotic plants. Over 340 bird species live in the vicinity of the Reserve. With luck you may have a glimpse of some of the wildlife that inhabits the area, such as monkeys, capybaras, wild pigs, to name a few. You can enjoy canoe trips and fishing opportunities on the natural lagoons or the Napo River.
