Please note that all our tours have to be fully paid before the start of the trip. Vouchers and tickets won´t be issued before we have received the total amount.
Available payment methods and handling fees
If you have booked a tour at least 4 weeks in advance then we accept the following payments:
We recommend this form of payment as it is usually the quickest and easiest payment method. We charge a wiring fee of 50 USD per transfer in order to cover our costs of transferring the money to our Ecuadorian bank account.
We have a domestic account in Ecuador and you can deposit cash on this account via any branch of “Produbanco”. This way you can avoid banking charges and exchange rate costs if you are already in Ecuador.
Paypal is an easy and secure method of payment. We charge an extra 4,5 % for Paypal fees + 50 USD for wiring the money to our account in Ecuador. Over Paypal you can also pay by credit card. Due to the high fees, Paypal is generally only used for smaller amounts or last minute payments.
We accept US$ cash in our Quito office.
We will inform you about our bank details upon request. Just tell us how you would like to pay and we will email you all the necessary information.
Payment options in the case of a last minute tour
We consider bookings made less than 2 weeks before your tour date as a last minute bookings. If you are in Ecuador, then it is best to pay us in US$ cash in our office or to deposit the amount on our Ecuadorian bank account. You can also pay by PayPal. Contact us regarding other forms of payment depending on your time of booking please!
Procedure of payment after booking
When you make the booking, we require at least a 30% deposit to confirm your reservation. In the case of Galapagos a 30% deposit + flights. This deposit is non-refundable in the case you have to cancel the booking. Full payment has to be made at least 1 month before the date of your booked tour, in the case of Galapagos 2 months before the tour. If you would like to pay the full amount at time of booking, you certainly have the possibility to do so.
In the case of last minute bookings (i. e. made less than 3 weeks before the tour date, for Galapagos less than 8 weeks before the tour date), full payment has to be made immediately. This is important because in the case of late payment, operators can cancel your reservation.

We strongly advice you to buy a travel insurance before the trip to get back your money in case of serious illnesses or other events which make it impossible for you to do the tour. Please check the offer of Worldnomads.
As soon as we have received your deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation.
We can hand you out travel documents, flight tickets, vouchers etc. in your hotel in Quito, you can come to our office to pick them up or we can send everything by email if you won´t be in Quito before the tour date.
