The Amazon Wellness Retreat is a carefully designed journey into the Ecuadorian rainforest, created for those seeking rest, clarity, and reconnection through nature rather than spectacle.

Set in a remote and biodiverse region of the Amazon, this retreat offers a slower pace and a deeper relationship with the environment. Days are shaped around guided rainforest walks, time on the river, wildlife observation, and intentional moments of rest and reflection. The experience invites participants to tune into natural rhythms — light, sound, movement, and stillness — allowing the rainforest itself to become the guide.

This is not a ceremony-driven or commercialized wellness product. Instead, it is a grounded immersion that respects local knowledge, prioritizes safety and ethics, and integrates simple, meaningful wellness practices in a responsible way. Cultural encounters and traditional elements, when included, are always guided by local practitioners and approached with respect and transparency.

The retreat is designed for small groups or private travelers, ensuring a personalized pace, attentive support, and space for genuine presence. Every element is adapted to the group’s needs, comfort level, and intentions, making each retreat a unique and thoughtfully curated experience.

Retreat Overview

6 Days / 5 Nights — Single-Lodge Immersion

Day 1 — Arrival & Grounding

Departure from Quito and descent into the Amazon basin. Arrival at a remote, family-run eco-lodge in the afternoon. Time to settle in, rest, and orient. A gentle welcome space supports grounding and transition into the rainforest rhythm.

Overnight: Amazon Eco-Lodge

Day 2 — Nature Connection

Slow morning followed by guided jungle walks and time near the river. Introduction to rainforest ecology, medicinal plants, and local knowledge, always approached with context and care.

The afternoon remains open for rest, journaling, or quiet reflection.

Overnight: Amazon Eco-Lodge

Day 3 — Integration & Gentle Ritual Space

A spacious and calm day focused on presence and integration. Optional non-psychoactive, culturally respectful practices may be offered, such as plant cleansings or herbal baths.

There is no pressure and no altered states required — participation is always optional.

Overnight: Amazon Eco-Lodge

Day 4 — Embodied Movement & Flow

A light to moderate river activity introduces movement and embodied release, reconnecting breath, body, and awareness in a playful, grounded way.

The afternoon returns to stillness and rest.

Overnight: Amazon Eco-Lodge

Day 5 — Community & Reflection

This day centers on connection and context. Depending on conditions, it may include time with a local community, shared meals, and learning through daily life in the Amazon.

The experience emphasizes respect, listening, and mutual exchange rather than observation from the outside.

Overnight: Amazon Eco-Lodge

Day 6 — Closing & Return

After breakfast, the journey back to Quito begins. A closing conversation supports integration and a gradual return to daily life.

Approach & Philosophy

This retreat does not promise healing outcomes.

Instead, it creates the conditions where healing can occur naturally:

  • Safety over intensity

  • Presence over performance

  • Integration over peak experiences

The journey works with the body and nervous system — not against them.
