Retreat Overview

6 Days / 5 Nights — Alto Napo & Misahuallí Amazon Immersion

Day 1 — Arrival & Grounding

Depart from Quito and descend into the Amazon basin, reaching the Alto Napo region near the entrance to Llanganates National Park.

Arrival in an intimate Amazon community setting, hosted by a local family. Time to settle in, rest, and gently transition into the rhythm of the rainforest.

A calm welcome space supports grounding, orientation, and connection to place.

Overnight: Local family stay, Alto Napo region

Day 2 — Nature Connection

Begin with a slow morning followed by guided time in the surrounding forest and river landscapes.

The day introduces rainforest ecology, medicinal plants, local knowledge, and the living relationship between people and the Amazon.

The afternoon remains open for rest, journaling, reading, or quiet reflection.

Overnight: Local family stay, Alto Napo region

Day 3 — Ancestral Knowledge & Gentle Ritual Space

A spacious and calm day focused on presence, cultural context, and integration.

Optional non-psychoactive, culturally respectful practices may be offered, such as plant cleansings, herbal baths, or quiet reflective spaces.

There is no pressure and no altered states required. Participation is always optional.

Day 4 — Movement, Water & Flow

After breakfast, continue toward the Misahuallí area.

A light to moderate river or nature-based activity introduces movement, breath, and playful reconnection with the body in a grounded way.

The afternoon returns to stillness, rest, and the slower rhythm of the Amazon.

Day 5 — Community & Reflection

This day centers on connection and context.

Depending on conditions and local coordination, it may include time with a local community, shared meals, traditional knowledge, and learning through daily life in the Amazon.

Day 6 — Closing & Return

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Quito.
