In some parts of the itinerary, you have the freedom to visit places where you can go on your own or relax at the beach. That allows you to enjoy the beaches freely and enjoy the islands your way. You won’t have to worry about transportation, accommodations, and some tours in our tour package. We will take care of the maritime transport and hotels of your preference and give you all the suggestions available in the area.

Flight to Galapagos - San Cristobal

Flight to San Cristobal (SCY) in the morning, In the Afternoon you have time to try the local specialties, lobster is one of the most famous dishes, “El Cangrejo Loco” is recommended by the locals.

El Junco Lagoon & Pto. Chino

After a delicious breakfast, a local guide will take you to the highland to El Junco Lagoon and then to la Galapaguera Cerro Colorado, where they take care of the Galapagos turtles until they are old enough to survive into the wild, and then to a beautiful sandy beach of Pto. Chino.

Kicker Rock - San Cristobal Tour

Today, you do one of the most unique tours, you will join a group to go snorkeling at Kicker Rock, some times you can even sport HammerHead sharks and eagle rays among so many others.

Transfer San Cristobal - Santa Cruz

Today you need to wake up really early to take the transfer to Santa Cruz, the boat departs at 7 am so you need to be at the pier at 6:30 am then the ride takes about 2 hours, at the ship is better to sit in the back because is less bumpy ride there, Once you arrive In Santa Cruz You Are on your own, you have the Hotel that is  a few blocks away from the pier and in the Hotel they will explain to you what to do, you can visit the Charles Darwin foundation that is really close to the Hotel ( There is an entrance fee of 10 USD and there they have guides that will show you around) and then walk by the port to the Ninfas lake and head up for a short walk to Tortuga Bay Beach, there you can spend the rest of the afternoon, just bring some water, sunscreen, snacks, and a towel to lie on the beach, shoes for walking as you have a short walk of about 30 minutes to get to the beach, once you get to the beach you will find playa brava, swim carefully here as it has strong currents and if you keep going by the shore to the right you will find a calm beach where you can swim snorkel or just rest, bring some insect repellent as there are some big mosquitoes, for dinner you can go on your own to walk by the port and walk through the many restaurants that offer a diverse menu.

La Grietas - Transfer to Isabella

. In the morning, you have time to go to Las Grietas, and it’s a self-guided path to a beautiful place where you can snorkel and swim, then head back to the Hotel and take the boat ride to Isabella at 2 pm. Please try to be there 10 minutes before. Later after a couple of hours, you arrive at Isabela. You need to pay a fee to use the dock on Isabela Island. The ferry boats depart from the dock located outside of town. Once you get there, you’ll need to take a 15-20 walk to the Hotel or hop in a taxi from town. The taxi should cost $1 per person.

Volcan Sierra Negra - Transfer to Santa Cruz

Tour starts at 7:15 to Sierra Negra Volcano. It has the second largest crater globally and is located in the most active volcanic areas of the Galapagos. The last activities were in July 2018.

In Isabella, there is another Breeding center that you can walk to close to the town and walk by the flamingo lake that if you are lucky, you can see some.

Los Tuneles Cabo Rosa, Puerto Villamil tour

At 7:30 starts the day trip to Los Tuneles Cabo Rosa, in this trip, you visit an area with underwater lava tunnels where you can snorkel and see with tipped sharks, sea turtles, and a big colony of Galapagos penguins besides a lot of sea life, back to Puerto Villamil

Free Morning - Transfer to Santa Cruz

Today you have a free morning to chill on the beach, you can also hire some bikes and visit the wall of tears, or a tour that is by the town to las Tintoreras, In the afternoon take the boat back to Santa Cruz, the boat departs at 2:30 pm from the dock, Check-in in Santa Cruz.

Flight Back to Mainland

In the morning after breakfast the transport will pick you up to go to Batra where is the airport, on the way you will do your last visit to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island where you visit a reserve of turtles in a wild state and pass through a lava tunnel underground.
